History

• Founded more than 100 years ago, started as distributor of heavy equipments and machineries.

• In March 1957, Koppel Inc. ventured into sub-contracting for HVAC including the production of splits and packaged aircon units.

• In 1990, Koppel Inc. was purchased by Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) and was named ABB-Koppel.

• During this period, company established its market dominance.Acquired by Fedders Corporation in January 2000 and named Fedders-Koppel.
